5 reasons you should rent a sign for your business instead of buying

As an entrepreneur, it’s important to make sure you’ve got your bases covered when you advertise your business. Digital marketing might seem fast, easy, and inexpensive, but if you focus only on that, you are missing out on a prime opportunity to connect with potential customers in your area.

Oaaa.org says out-of-home advertising “delivers huge reach with superior ROI, while complementing digital impressions in the real world, closest to the point of sale.”

Not everyone has the budget to buy space on a billboard, so how do you take advantage of out-of-home marketing without breaking the bank?  By renting your signage instead of buying it!

In this blog you’ll hear some of the reasons our customers choose to rent their portable signage instead of buying.

Here are the top 5 reasons our customers choose to rent signs instead of purchase.

Ongoing Maintenance

When you are running your business, you have enough to take care of on a daily basis. You don’t want to be out checking on your signage to make sure it’s still there, still visible, and still representing your business well. When you rent your sign, the ongoing maintenance of the sign is OUR responsibility, and if something’s not right, we’ll fix it!

This keeps your repair and maintenance costs down, and allows you to keep focused on what you do best – running your business and keeping your clients happy.

Support

We support our customers with our decades of industry expertise!

  • Not sure where you’re allowed to put your sign? We’re very familiar with bylaws and best practices in Edmonton and Calgary.
  • Not sure what size you need? We can advise on how large your sign should be, depending on your messaging needs and your  budget.
  • Not sure how to design your sign?  We have an in-house graphic designer who does beautiful work.
  • Ready to change your sign to a new message or a new offer? We’ll handle that too!

Surprising Perks

When you purchase a sign you’re committing to a single size, a single style, and a single message. By renting a sign, you can change it up to keep your customers engaged!

If you’re in a strip centre or shopping mall, we can also negotiate with your landlords/site managers to find a space for your sign that works within your existing agreements.

And because we don’t tie you into long-term contracts, you’re able to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Most of our clients stay with us for a long time, and so we’re able to offer your first month for free!

Installation

With temporary portable signage, there’s more to it than meets the eye. Transportation and set up can be a challenge if you don’t have the right sized vehicle, or the manpower to move it around.  Do you know how to set it up so it won’t blow away in the wind? Do you know how to set up the solar lighting?  Don’t get lost in the details – we offer full installation of all of our rented signs, so you don’t have to.

 Storage

If you purchase a portable or temporary sign, you’ll need to have somewhere to store it while it’s not in use, or while you’re making design or messaging changes. By renting a sign, you get to leave the storage to us – including transportation to and from the spot where it will be displayed.

Signs can range from 2ft x 3 feet, to 4 feet x 8 feet, with equally large bases. Those signs are expensive to purchase, the large-format printing is a challenge to change, and storing them between uses is prohibitive. This way, every inch of your available space can be used for product that is either on display or waiting to be sold.

Lean on our expertise

“Getting a sign” can feel like a giant list of tasks, but when you rent your signage, that headache goes away. It’s easy, fast, and effective. We’ll be there from budget to design concept to maintenance to storage, all for a reasonable cost and no long-term contract.
